Today in class we watched the story of St Patrick , It's about St Patrick's early life, I like how St Patrick was teaching the people about Holy Trinity only using Shamrock, I also liked how he banished the snakes, devils, and the birds away from Ireland, I've learnt that only using a Shamrock helps people learn about the Holy Trinity

Recount of our trip to East-view Reserve

Who: Frazer from Auckland zoo and TWP hub.
What: Testing the water quality at our local stream.
Where: East-view Reserve, Omaru, Glen Innes, Auckland, New Zealand.
When: Tuesday 10th March 2020.
Why: To see if it was healthy, and to know how to look after it better.

Sometimes I do not really worry about the quality
of the water but sometimes I do worry about it.
I know that there is a lot of water in my life.

On Tuesday 10th March Frazer from the Auckland Zoo took Te Wairua Pakiki (TWP) hub to the East-view Reserve because we wanted to take a look at our local stream. We were testing our local stream to see if it was good, fair or bad. We were looking at stream creatures that Frazer caught from our local stream. We were also looking through this long tube and there was a thing inside of it that was a magnet.
The way we know how the water is clean is the five C’s the five C’s are,Current, Clear, Clean, Clean, Creatures, Cold. The meaning of Current is the water is moving, the meaning of clear is that to see if our local stream is clean, the meaning of Clean is to see if our local stream is clean it was not as clean as Goat Island but it was fair, the meaning of creatures is was there and small fish in our local stream.

There was another magnet that we could put it up and see if it was going to disappear or not. Then our principal Mr. Coakley came to us and decided to tell us to get into a line and then Mr. Coakley took a photo of us. We were heading back to school but then Ms. Nees-Kairua told us to sit down but some stand up then she took a photo. Finally we headed back to school.

Human Dignity:Caritas

Lesson Two Continued
Human Dignity
This week the Caritas challenged us this Lent to
make a difference in others lives by making small changes to our daily actions.

Today in class we are talking about Lent, I am giving up
lollies because I am addicted to lollies. Every time we
go to the shops I will ask my mum or dad if I can buy lollies.

The Caritas told me to Pray about giving the
South Africa kids some more food and money so they are able to eat.

Pray: Heavenly Father, please forgive me
how I am not grateful when my
Mum or dad gives me food to eat.
I should be grateful even when my mum
Or dad gives me a piece of bread.

The things that I am grateful is my family, I am also grateful for my life and how you
gave my another day of life. I am also grateful that you are keeping my family safe
and God please look after South Africa kids and adult how some of them don't have

 Any houses.
