Wonderopolis What does it mean to be immune? #1171

Today my teacher decided to do Wonderopolis instead of Maths but that's fine. When I entered Wonderopolis something caught my eye and it was 'What does it mean to be Immune?'. I thought it was a really great one since there is a virus happening and some people are getting immunised. Now you would know the meaning of immunised. Prototec Basic Facts Certificate

Today for maths we did Prototec Timed because its Monday. On Monday's we always start off with Prototec Basic Facts. I am really proud of myself because i'm always getting higher scores or sometimes my scores would go down. I would like to learn the things like 11+17= or 19 - 5 =. Normally I try and get it right but then it just doesn't work out. I get the answer but its timed so I don't get enough time to put down the answer.

I haven't done anything different from last week. I don't have a piece of paper next to me because I don't really need it and because it takes a little bit long for me to work it out. To be honest I think that I am improving because last time my goal was to know fro example 1000 - 364 I would like to know how to do that and I actually do now. I fine it really easy to do it.

The Holy Spirit & Screencastify

This Week for R.E I made a slide about the Holy Spirit. I did Activity 1&2, Activity 1&2 were about thinking of a time you've helped someone and someone else had helped you. Then I read two scriptures the two scriptures I made were Romans 8: 9 and John 14: 17.  I then retold about it. After that I made a screencastify about three pieces of advice I would give to people who are my age. Here are my slides!

Tupou Pronouns

Today for Māori we are learning about tūpou Māori - Māori pronouns. This was easy because we learnt a lot about this and we even have a slide telling us about it. A new word I learnt was manamanahau, manamanahau means joyful.

Number Game

Today for maths we made a number game. This number game was about picking a number between 4000 and 7000 then we put down clues and my classmate has to guess what the lucky number is. Can you try and guess what Krystal's lucky number?

Cybersmart Challenge #13 My digital Footprint

Hi everyone, I have more learning about the Cybersmart Challenge. Today's Cybersmart Challenge is about my digital footprint. Basically where I have been on during the day of learning in school. I first went on my history by doing control h. When I do that I can see what I have been on during the day of learning. After I put the logo or picture of that site I add two or one footprint then I repeat the same thing!

Cybersmart Challenge #14 Quality Blog Posts

Today for Home Learning I have decided to do Cybersmart Challenge #14. Cybersmart Challenge #14 was about helping John, John didn't know how to make a Quality Post. So I helped him. How did you help John? Since John didn't know how to make a quality post I showed him how to make one. To make a quality blog you need a Title you also need a brief explanation about what you did, you also need labels that are relevant to the topic. After helping out John he is now good at making Quality Blogs!

Moala Book Review

Hi Everyone, so today's learning is about the book that I read during Silent reading. This book is called "The Baby - Sitters Club Kristy's Big Day". Kristy's Big day is about Kristy's mum and step-dad get married. Since lots of the relatives are coming there are going to be lots of kids as well (there are four-teen kids) Kristy and the Baby-Sitters club members want to help out with the adults. With their help they are going to be looking after the four-teen kids while the parents sort everything out. Once thats finish they have their wedding and Kristy get to be beside her mother.

Medicinal Plants Medical problems and uses

Today I've learnt about many medicinal plants. I've also learnt that they can cure some bad things that happen to you. For Koromiko you need to use the closed leaf tips. For the Skin Diseases you use the whole part of the Kowhai tree including the bark and stuff. For the Pohutukawa the nectar of the Pohutukawa flower had been recommended for sore throats. The leaves of the Harakeke can be used for for dressing aid healing and the Harakeke's juice for wounds. The puriri leaves helps Ulcers. In the Kawakawa leaves it contain myristicin which has pain numbing properties and it heals toothaches. Today I've learnt so much about Medicinal plants!

Manuka Poster - Aurora, Moala and Solomon

Today Aurora Solomon and I made a poster about a Native Plant and that Plant is a Manuka. A Manuka is white and has brown things in it it has five pedals on it. We researched a lot about Manuka's a found out a lot about it. Our Poster looks sick! So read and check it out! :)

This Week is Samoan Language Week. Last time for Samoan Language Week we were focusing on a Samoan Siva but now we are focusing on introducing ourselves in Samoan. The Last Supper Mark 14:12 - 16

Today for R.E we read a gospel Mark 14:12 - 16. This gospel was about the Last Supper and how Jesus sent two of his disciples with a bucket of water to the city and find a man so he could lead the to a house to the upper room where they can have their passover. After reading the gospel I made a drawing about Mark 14:12 - 16. My drawing is about the Last Supper!  

What we share Challenge #12

Today's Cybersmart Challenge is about what we share and keep private. Cybersmart Challenge #12 is a really good Challenge because you will know what to keep private and what to keep public. I have learnt a lot doing this challenge! At first I didn't really know but I was talking with my teacher and she told me to keep my date of birth private because someone could use your date of birth and be a fraud by pretending to be you.

So I learnt a lot by keeping or sharing my personal stuff with other people! Anyways Check our my activity!
