R.E - Who is Isaiah

Hi Everyone, Today for R.E I had to make a brief biography about Isaiah. Isaiah is a writer, he also  told the other people to follow God and be prepared for the Messiah to come. R.E - Rapid Recap on the Liturgical Year

Hi Everyone, today for R.E I had to match some sentences with other sentences. For example one of them were The most important feast in the liturgical year is... With that sentence I have to figure out the answer to that sentence. The answer is Easter the day of Jesus Christ's Resurrection.  

WALT: Recognise that the  Advent reading from Isaiah helps people hope for the Messiah and remind them to prepare for his coming.

Elephant in the room Chapter 7-8

Hi Everyone, Today's blog is about Elephant In the Room. The two chapters were about how Luke wanted to be apart of the Losers but Liv wasn't agreeing with him. But Luke wouldn't listen to her so he still went to school with cool clothes. But it work out the way he wanted it to... Check out my activity!

Stress Response

Hi Everyone, Todays learning is about stress and how you can overcome some things you get stress about. You can always talk to a person if you are feeling stressed. Stress Response means that when you are stress the brain sends a signal to the body. So it depends how you wanna act when you get that signal. You can get angry you can cry you can do many things. To overcome it you can do some mindfulness breathing.  This Video will help you!

After Fire Questions

Hi everyone, Today for Reading I did another activity but for the actual story. I had to answer some easy questions for the story. I found it easy because since I already read the story I found it easy to answer them. Joe met a friend at the pen her name is Sadia. Sadia told a story to Joe that her parents village was flooded like their house and everything but at the end she said "but they survived". So she said at least they are still alive. Reading - Before you Begin After Fire

Hi Everyone, Today for Reading I read a story called After Fire. Before I get into the activities for the story I did before you begin. The story is about how a a little boy named Joe, he loved animals. A huge fire was at there area. Which created their area to be "ugly". Everything was like brown the hills were brown the trees and grass were dead. Joe wanted the best for his place so he wanted to make a plan. But his mum didn't agree and said "at least we're here". That's what Joe's friend Sadia said. This activity was about stress I had to think about the things I get stress about and how I fix it. Check it out!

                                

P.E - Celebrating me

Hi Everyone, Today I did some P.E but not like sports. Today I went out with my friend Kalila. Kalila and I went outside to the courts and drew myself and added some words on the outside. The 7 words are the things I did during lockdown. After writing the words around my body we went inside and I put the meanings of the words I wrote down. For example I wrote down Food I have to write the meaning why I wrote down Food. Check out my Activity!

                          

Cybersmart Challenge #23 - Scams and Phishing

Hi Everyone, For todays cybersmart challenge it is about scams and real websites. For this activity I had to think about which website is legit and which one is fake. To figure it out I was given a fake email on my google presentation and then I figured if it was Legit or Fake. I found this quite easy because the fake ones say that their apps are for free so I knew that it was fake. Anways check out my blog!

 

Fraction, Decimal, Percentage Equivalent

Hi Everyone, Today for Maths I had to simplify some fraction and add some percentages. I found this activity surprisingly easy because my teacher has already demonstrated how to simplify fractions. Also adding percentages is just adding some numbers together and that was easy. Check out my work!

 

SPXCS - Back at School!

Hi Everyone, Today St Pius X Catholic School started their first day of school! I didn't really expect us to come back to school at level 3. First off when the bell rang we went downstairs and sat down while our new principal Mr. Mailei welcomed us back to school. 

After that we came back into our learning space and got right into work. We first listened to the song 'Together as one' by Andrew Chinn. Then we wrote on a google drawing about our friends and what we want in our friends. We then read the scripture Mark 1 16:20. In our google drawing we wrote who we were excited to see at school and why. What do you think are the key things to have in friends ? Current Events - Trachilos Footprints

Hi Everyone, Today I did current events. This topic was about Trachilos Footprints. So these scientists found a footprint from over 5.7 million years ago. That footprint was made by a chimpanzee that had human like bones. It was located in Crete, an island in Greece. Find out more on my work!

Cybersmart Challenge #22 - Empowerment

Hi Everyone, today's Cybersmart Challenge is about hurtful comments that people write to us. I learnt that if someone writes a mean comment then we screenshot it and send it to those we trust. Converting Decimals to Fractions 1

Hi Everyone, today for maths I was changing the decimals into fractions. This time I didn't have to simplify it I just had to change the decimal into a fraction. Anyways I found this activity hard and easy because some of the questions were hard and the rest were really easy. Check out my activity!

Elephant in the room chapter 5-6

Hi Everyone, Today I blogged about the chapter 5-6 Elephant in the room. Chapter 5 and 6 was about how Luke wanted to blend in with the cool kids but mum didn't agree with it so she talked about her silly nonsense list. Burger Model Conclusion

Hi Everyone, this is the second part of the burger model. The conclusion is the last part of the burger model. For the conclusion I just out the last part of what happened during the lolly scramble. When I said there was a twist I meant that while we were hiding for playing the game dark it turned out to be a prank. Wait fro my actual writing.

Burger Model Introduction

Hi Everyone, During this week we had to write about our Weekends. Since the holidays were Halloween we did a Lolly Scramble. Since Halloween is on a Sunday we did it the day before. During the lolly scramble we played games to earn some lollies we tried to get the lollies that were on the floor so we can have lots of them.
