Gardening Hydroponics system plants

Gardening Hydroponics systems plants

Today for science we made Hydroponic system plants. My teacher told us to go outside to the shed area before we went out to the shed area. My teacher showed us how to make a Hydroponic system plant.

We grabbed every supplies we needed for the hydroponic system plant. Our supplies were cotton (we didn’t need cotton we thought it would be interesting to use cotton) Nutrient water, strings, plastic bottles, scissors, at that time we had milk from my teacher that we could cut the like carton in half. We didn’t need to wash the milk carton because calcium is good for plants.

The first thing we did is that we grabbed a plastic bottle and also grabbed scissors and cut it in half. We had to put the top of the bottle inside of the bottom one. We had to cut a string off but it could be as long as we wanted. We put the string inside of the bottle you put the string through the top bottle inside of the bottom bottle.

The second step is to get the cotton and place it in the top bottle but do not put the cotton on top of the string you put the string where the plant is going to be. My teacher had different types of plants in the shed so we could pick anyone of them. (I am not too sure what plant I chose) I put the plant where the string was.

I dipped my hand in the bucket of nutrient water because I was told that I had to sprinkle some of the water on top of my plant. When I was finished we could also add some of some plants there were snake plants and spanish moss I didn't really want to add anything. My teacher told the people that were finished to go back to class and take pictures of our plant so we can blog about it. We also wrote our names on our plants so we know exactly what plants are ours. The end if you made the hydroponic plant do you think it was easy for you?
Was it fun making it?
