Today's Cybersmart Challenge was about introducing your self and adding a photo so they know how you look like. I first added a nice colour for the background, I chose red because it is my favourite colour. Then I added a picture of myself and used the crop button and clicked on shapes then I chose circle because that is the shape and tried to fit my picture into the circle frame. Then I introduced myself. If you would like to know more about me check out my blog!

Trees Talk To Each Other
What was this article about?
This article was about how Trees talk to each other in other cooperative ways. Trees are linked like neighbors' underground network of fungi. By warning each other that they are in danger they share with each other their nutrients at critical times to keep them healthy.

Moala Jesus Ascension - R.E
Today for R.E my class and I were learning about the Ascension of Jesus. My teacher Miss Nees-Kairua made a google slide about the Ascension of Jesus. Ms. Nees made a slide with two text boxes in those two boxes were two different part of sentences that are related to the Ascension of Jesus, we had to match them up together. Here is my work!
Term 2 Moala
Monday 17th May 2021 - Jesus’ Ascension
Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey 50 days before Ascension day.
On Thursday of the week that followed Palm Sunday Jesus had his last meal with his Apostles.
The day after his last supper Jesus was put to death on a cross on Calvary hill.
Jesus lay in a tomb for 3 days and then God raised him up.
After his resurrection Jesus showed himself to his friends and some did not recognise him.
He spent time with his apostles and told them he was going to return to his father.
50 days after Palm Sunday Jesus was taken by God to share his glory in heaven.
Because Jesus entered heaven in glory he made it possible for his followers to do the same.

Mother's Day Mass
Today we had a very special mass. We were celebrating Mother's Day. We had some of our mothers come in and celebrate with us.
In class this week we made our very own Mother's Day cards. Mrs. Palu used the glider to cut the red paper once we've got our red paper we folded it in half. Mrs. Palu also cut stripes of paper, with that piece of paper we started quilling it. Quilling is when you roll the paper to the end then let it go it looks really nice. We first used a pencil and drew out a heart then we used PVA glue and glued it on the inside of the heart. Once we were finished with that we used a long strip of paper and used that as the outline of the heart.
I wrote two card for my Grandma and Mum!

Moala Lesson 1 - Oropūare and Orokati (Vowels and Consonants).
Today for Maori we were learning about The Māori Language, vowels, consonants. The Māori alphabet is made up with eight consonants, five vowels and two digraphs. In Māori when there is a tohu tu (macron, hat) you have to drag the word like ngaaa. There is also a song that relates to Orokati Consonants (the letters that aren't in the vowels).
Example: keke with no macrons means cake, and kēkē with macrons mean armpit.
Here is the lyrics (not really lyrics).
