Soul Friends Mass

Today Saint Pius X Catholic School had a special mass. We had a mass because we celebrated three occasions. Saint Patricks, Ash Wednesday, Soul Friends. Today we honour St Patricks who is the patron of Ireland People and The Holy Faith Sisters who created this school St Pius X Catholic School. They also brought the Genius Ideas Soul Friends.

Soul Friends is about taking care of your soul friends. Also being a role model to them and taking care of them when they are sad and no one is around them. They communicate with each other and share there worries and joys together. Soul Friends was introduced by The Holy Faith Sisters who started it. Where the older ones look after the younger ones.

We had our Ash Wednesday because on the day we were supposed to have Ash Wednesday we were in lockdown so we couldn't do Ash Wednesday.

St Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. He lived in the fifth century. He was born in the Roman Britain. He was kidnapped and was brought to Ireland. He was a slave at the age of 16. He escaped, but returned to Ireland and was credited with bringing Christianity to its people.
