Goal Setting Term 4

Today to start off our day besides read theory and splash learn. We were doing our morning schools. Our morning goals were based at home since we are in lockdown. It was pretty hard to answer these questions but with my teacher explaining it,it got easier. My morning goals were simple and easy. Check them out !

P.E - Health and Workout Coordination Challenges

Yesterday for P.E I did some coordination challenges. I already knew some of them which made it easier for me to do. The first one which is opposing arm swings was pretty hard because it did look confusing but I got the hang of it. I don't think I did it correctly because my arm didn't fully swing to the back. The rest of the challenges were pretty easy. The last one which was the Thumb/Pinky trick was the easiest However I took many shots to do it. I had to screencastify it because I couldn't publish it.

Moala and Ana What is Earth Science?

Today for Inquiry we had to pair up and make a Graffiti page about Earth Science. My partner was Ana. We didn't put much pictures but I am kind of glad we didn't because it looks better with just one picture. I found this easy because all we had to do was just add words that were relatable to Earth Science.

Maths Starters - Changing a improper fraction to a mixed fraction

Yesterday for our maths starters we had to explain how to change a improper fraction into a mixed fraction. I found this really easy because I've already done this. Here is a exmaple colour 6/4 and 1/4 to make it easier you could draw maybe a circle a retangle but there has to be four equal shapes in it. You first colour 6/4 since there is only 4 in one of your shape you colour two more in the others shape and there you've done 6/4 so now you have to colour one more square in another colour to not get confused!

Pacific and Native Plant Presentation

Last week Twp Whanau (Te Wairua Pakiki) presented our Native and Pacific plants to Twp 8, Takiritia 1 2 and 3, we also presented to Dr. Jannie Van Hees.  First up were the Kauri Tree, each group chose to either do a rap/song/poem a presentation a movie or a maybe a animation. The Kauri tree people who were Josaia, Manny, Aniseko and Aston chose to do a rap. Their rap was awesome! Dereon and his group was nexted they did the Rimu Tree. After the Rimu tree people did their presentation it was the Puriri Tree Nasili and his group chose to do a movie the movie looked Great!

After the Puriri tree was the Totara Tree people Solomone's group chose to do a song about the Totara tree and it was really good!

Next up were Vaka and Esau's group they did the Ti Kōuka they also did a presentation they pretended they were the part of the tree like the leaves they were imagining they were the tree.

After the Ti Kōuka people were the KawaKawa people they did a poem and a presentation which look great!

Lastly for the Native Tree people were the Kanuka and Manuka people which was my group!

The reason why we did two trees was because they looked exactly a like so we did the similarities and the differences.

Sadly thats not the ending the Pacific Tree people are left. The first people to present their Pacific Plant were the Kava people which was Amihuti's group. The Kava people did a movie which looked really cool! Next was the Heilala people which was Aurora's group they also gave Dr. Jannie a Heilala and placed it around her neck. At the end Alfonsus made a poem about the Heilala.

Then it was the Ngatae and Hiapo people!
