I chose to use the same colours that the other picture had so it could like the exact same.
Today in R.E we are talking about the Liturgical Year. My teacher gave us an activity to do, we had to match up the sentences to the other sentences. When we were finished matching them up we made a google drawing and put pictures with words that represent Advent.

The penitential or preparation seasons of the Liturgical year are Advent and Lent.
The Liturgical years begin each on The first day of Advent.
The most important feast in the Liturgical Year is Easter, the day of Jesus Christ's Resurrection.
The colour you would see featuring in church decorations during Ordinary time is Green,
the colour of hope.
In the homily, the hymns and the Scripture readings for Advent, the theme is Green,
the colour of Hope.
The Sunday scripture readings are set out in a three year cycle - Years A,B,C

Introduction: This scripture Luke: 39-56 is about How Mary rushed to the City of Judah and went into the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth. Elizabeth heard the greeting but her coils feel the baby in her stomach jump. Elizabeth felt like she was filled with the Holy Spirit. Elizabeth shouted and said “Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb”. Look below to see the full story.
This story is about how Mary rushed to the town of Judah, then Mary greeted Elizabeth, Elizabeth heard her greeting but she felt her baby jump in her womb she felt like she was filled with the Holy Spirit so she said “Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb”. When Mary saw this she said “My soul doth magnify the lord, and my Spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaid; for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. Then Mary stayed there with Elizabeth for three months then went back to her house.
Stories about Mary
This story is mainly about how Angel Gabriel came across Mary and told her “The Lord is with you, do not be afraid”. The Angel Gabriel also told her that she was going to be married to Joseph and how she was also going to be a Mother to Jesus ‘The Son of Most High”. The Angel Gabriel was sent by God to tell her the news. Mary was confused because she didn’t know how this could happen because she is a virgin. The Angel said to her that “The Holy Spirit’s power will overshadow her”. Mary was really happy that this happened to her. She was really happy and shocked because she was a virgin.
Proof: Mary’s words that she said “Behold I am the servant of The Lord; let it be to me according to your word” Then the Angel departed from her.
Lastly the scripture tells us how lucky Mary was when she met God and also The Angel Gabriel. Also how she received great news from the Angel that she was going to have a baby called Jesus which was ‘The Son of Most High’.

Tell a lie: I took my brothers slides and he asked who took it and I said it was my other brother.
You shouldn't lie to other because it is really bad but if it is a dangerous situation you should lie so you and your family could be safe.
Story: Once my parent allowed me to go the shops and buy some stuff that we needed. A few minuted has gone by. My mum got worried so she came to the shops with my brothers they saw me come out of the shops like I was perfectly fine. They asked me why I took so long to go back home I told her that I was just talking to the shop owner.
It didn't look like she believed me but she said "at least you are fine". So we went back home I was getting a little bit worried before they fine out that I wasn't telling the truth. The truth involves the police... My family only found out about this a few days ago. The truth was about the shop owner.
Today I am going the book that Mr. Williamson read.
The story that he read was Mophead, this story was about a girl hair.
I am going to be talking about Selina Tusitala Marsh.
Her hair was mixed with straight and curly straight and curly together it looked like a Mophead so that is why the book is called Mophead. She was a little bit insecure about her hair because she thought that people wouldn't like the way her hair was.
My next blog is going to be about her trying to do stuff to cover her hair and what she did to fix it.
My class and I have learned about the six strands. I created a DLO on St. Monica. I chose St. Monica because I decided to try something new so I chose her.
The Chelsea Factory Recount
Planning
Who? TWP 5, Two parents, Ms. Nees - Kairua.
What? Baking, Going around the Factory in the Interactive Zone.
Where? Over the Harbour Bridge, The Chelsea Factory, Birkenhead.
Why? Because some people in my class, including myself, wanted to learn a new skill. That new skill was cooking and baking.
How? We arrived at The Chelsea Sugar Factory on a bus.
On the 3rd of November my class and I plus two parents and a teacher, we had a trip. Our trip was to go to The Chelsea Sugar Factory. We went to the factory because some of the students in my class including myself wanted to learn a new skill. The new skill that we wanted to learn was Cooking and Baking.
First thing we did when we rushed out of the Factory was we went to a small room at the side of the room where there were vests and a helmet on top of it. The people who were helping us introduced themselves. We were split into two groups: one group was orange and the other group was the pink group. I was in the pink group, the orange group first went baking and the orange group went on a tour.
After we were split into our groups we had to put on a vest and a helmet. Before we went on the tour we watched a video that shows where we were going to go on the tour. Instead of walking tiredly around the building we went around with a small train. But there were rules in the train you couldn’t stand up while the train was moving and also you couldn’t put any of your elbows off the edge of the train.
Later on after going to the Raw Sugar factory we went to try syrup. I don’t really like syrup so I don’t know why I tried it. After trying the syrup we were going around to see what people were doing and looking at what their job was in the factory. It was really cool looking at what people were doing and it also looked very hard looking. Our Chelsea Helper Tamtum was showing us the type of liquid that we drink or eat from the white and brown sugar.
Finally after walking around the factory we could bake now. Our teacher for baking was Jo. We were baking Chocolate Chip Cookies. Before we started cooking we had to put on an apron and also we had to wash our hands. The ingredients to bake Chocolate Chip Cookies are Melted Butter, Caster Sugar, Brown Sugar, Vanilla ess, a quarter measuring cup, measuring spoon, flour, chocolate chips. That made dough so we had to make them into balls. We put them into the oven for ten minutes, after the ten minutes we took out our chocolate chip cookies we made thirteen cookies so Mele and I took a cookie and halved it and ate it so we split the rest into six. We had a little contest where we had to try and get all of our questions right. All of the teachers at the Chelsea Factory were saying bye to us. We all hopped onto the bus and went back to school.

Labour Weekend 2020
Planning
Who: My cousins, brothers and I.
What: Playing Among us, playing on the trampoline. :)
Where: At my aunties house.
Why: Because my dad went to his
cousins house and my mum went
out to dinner with her sisters and friends.
How: We went there in my mum’s van.
On Monday twenty-six October, my brother, my mum and
I went to my aunties house because my dad went to
his cousin's house and my mum went to dinner with
her sister and friends. My cousins and I were playing a
popular game called Among us and we were also playing on the
trampoline. We arrived at my aunties house in my mum’s van.
First thing we did when we went inside the house was
I went and made myself like I was at home so I jumped onto my cousin's
bed because my back was sore. I sneaked my mum’s phone
so I could play on it. First I was playing a little bit of Roblox
then my cousin Charlotte came and asked me if I wanted to
play AMONG US with them I said OKAY!! So I ran up to my
cousins room and my cousin Charlotte came and told me the
code so I could play with them.
After playing I got a little upset with my brother so I decided to not play.
I went to my cousin’s room and played Roblox .
The game that I was playing on Roblox was Adopt me.
I was bored so my cousins and I went outside to go play on the
trampoline. My cousins and I like to record went we are outside
so we grabbed my mum’s phone and started recording.
We jumped off some of the metal that was above the trampoline
and we also did a challenge where you can’t fall if you fall then you
are eliminated.
Later on from playing on the trampoline we all ran back inside my
cousin’s decided to go to the G.I basketball court and my cousins
and I stayed back. I was watching youtube on my mum’s phone.
I don’t know why but I started watching Kim Liz ASMR.
My cousins were screen mirroring onto the T.V and started watching
Tik Tok and making Tik Tok. After all those arguments we decided to
go outside to get all those fights out of us. We kept doing more of those
jumping off the metal and doing some of the challenges.
Finally we went back inside because we were bored.
While I was watching youtube I looked at the door and saw my dad.
He came inside of the house and went to my other cousin.
We got bored again and decided to go trampoline. We waited until
it was a bit night so then we could go in. I went to the lounge and
surprisingly saw my mum sitting in the lounge. It was really hot so I
decided to eat some Ice - Cream. My mum told me to go and get my
brothers so we could finally go home. We all grabbed our stuff so we
could go home. THE END! :))
