Cybersmart Challenge #23 - Scams and Phishing

Hi Everyone, For todays cybersmart challenge it is about scams and real websites. For this activity I had to think about which website is legit and which one is fake. To figure it out I was given a fake email on my google presentation and then I figured if it was Legit or Fake. I found this quite easy because the fake ones say that their apps are for free so I knew that it was fake. Anways check out my blog!

 

Fraction, Decimal, Percentage Equivalent

Hi Everyone, Today for Maths I had to simplify some fraction and add some percentages. I found this activity surprisingly easy because my teacher has already demonstrated how to simplify fractions. Also adding percentages is just adding some numbers together and that was easy. Check out my work!

 

SPXCS - Back at School!

Hi Everyone, Today St Pius X Catholic School started their first day of school! I didn't really expect us to come back to school at level 3. First off when the bell rang we went downstairs and sat down while our new principal Mr. Mailei welcomed us back to school. 

After that we came back into our learning space and got right into work. We first listened to the song 'Together as one' by Andrew Chinn. Then we wrote on a google drawing about our friends and what we want in our friends. We then read the scripture Mark 1 16:20. In our google drawing we wrote who we were excited to see at school and why. What do you think are the key things to have in friends ? Current Events - Trachilos Footprints

Hi Everyone, Today I did current events. This topic was about Trachilos Footprints. So these scientists found a footprint from over 5.7 million years ago. That footprint was made by a chimpanzee that had human like bones. It was located in Crete, an island in Greece. Find out more on my work!

Cybersmart Challenge #22 - Empowerment

Hi Everyone, today's Cybersmart Challenge is about hurtful comments that people write to us. I learnt that if someone writes a mean comment then we screenshot it and send it to those we trust. Also if we receive an email and a message or comment in our google docs that they have sent to us. Check out my learning!

Converting Decimals to Fractions 1

Hi Everyone, today for maths I was changing the decimals into fractions. This time I didn't have to simplify it I just had to change the decimal into a fraction. Anyways I found this activity hard and easy because some of the questions were hard and the rest were really easy. Check out my activity!
