Moala-Matariki day

On Wednesday R.m Three and Room Five when we went inside we took off our shoes.When we went inside a lady was singing a maori song. They were whaia Keilly and Jack,whaia Tanya.Then we split up in three groups one group was drawing. One was painting rocks and one was weaving and carving. I was in the painting racks group we drawing a pattern the pattern is called a koru. After whaia Keilly told us a story after the story whaia kelly told us to paint on the rocks. When we were done drawing patterns on our rock we sang a maori song. Then we sat on the floor then the rest sat on the floor after we all shared our work. The first ones were the drawing group then the weaving and carving group then the painting on the rock. Then we walked back to school.

Cross Country - Bailey Road

On Thursday some people went to change. In our sports gear because we had to go Bailey Road. When the bell rang the parents were deciding who to go with.When the parents done deciding,the rest went in the sacred heart college van.

When we got there Mr slade said when you come first you will get a Red ice-block stick, if you come second you will get a orange ice-block stick, if you come third you will get a yellow ice-block stick after that we went outside.

After the year three girls and boys race, the boys went first. After that the girls went.Then we were all done.   

The parents were diciding again When they were all done the people who went with Mr Gaffney had frozen.

Soft drinks, and we stopped at Mc ‘Donald’s and a person Laki,my big brother told Mr Gaffeny how to do an order because Mr Gaffeny does not know how to do it. Then we got frozen watermelon flavored drinks finally went back to school. We went into the hall we didn’t want to share. Our drinks with others.

Hi, my name is Moala and my school is Saint Pius X Catholic School. I have four brothers and zero sisters.  I am seven years old.  I live in Auckland and my culture is Tongan.  I am a year 3 girl and I hope you enjoy my blog.

I am good at spelling and I enjoy spending time with my family.  It is challenges to do maths and my goal is to not fight with my brothers.  My favourite  subject is spelling and my favourite colour is purple.

I am going on a holiday to Tonga and I am looking forward to playing netball.  My mum and dad and aunt and uncle inspires me and encourage me.
