Have a kōrero about Te Whare Tapa Whā/ Tōku Whare Tapa Whā
Now that we’re halfway through MHAW, why not use this day to explore your wellbeing through Te Whare Tapa Whā and have a kōrero with someone else about what you learn? Consider the four pou and think about the different ways you can boost your wellbeing.
Did you Know that the Te Whare Tapa Wha has four dimensions ?
Well if you didn’t know it does. The four dimensions are taha tinana (physical wellbeing), taha hinengaro (mental wellbeing), taha wairua (spiritual wellbeing), and taha whanau (family wellbeing).
The four dimensions grew by SIr Mason in 1984. Taha means the people we care about and those that always make us feel comfortable.
